Job Description
Do you love entertainment and pop culture? Would you like to work with some of the best brands in the world?

This is a unique and challenging opportunity to join Radical Share – a digital marketing agency that specializes in finding the most exciting and buzzworthy ways to integrate brands into pop culture. We work with brands such as NECA, Kidrobot, WizKids, Loot Crate, Costumes.com and more. Our partners have incredible fandoms, and our mission is to design the best creative experiences possible to generate growth. This fan-loving team works together to create and promote licensed products for some of the biggest names in pop culture, anime, gaming, and entertainment.

Radical Share is a fast-paced environment, and the ideal candidate must be able to multitask. It also helps if you geek out about the same stuff we do and love getting lost down research rabbit holes.

Role:

We are looking for a highly skilled Photo Retoucher to work collaboratively with the Photographer, Art Directors, and Project Managers to achieve the desired aesthetic of our brands, through the enhancement of all photo assets. This person will also act as a Digital Asset Coordinator, accountable for cataloging, distributing, and maintaining digital assets on a daily basis. This is a full-time, remote position in New Jersey. We are looking for individuals who thrive in a fast-paced environment. Someone willing to jump in and be resourceful and creative when there’s a roadblock, and who will take the initiative to make improvements to processes where needed.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist the creative team with daily ingestion of assets including the addition of metadata to the DAM and archiving of assets.
  • Responsible for effectively communicating with external clipping partners on specs, hand-off of assets, and ensuring photos are free of errors and of top quality.
  • Responsible for post-production clean-up of a high-volume count of photo assets for print and web. Enhancements may include removing blemishes, dust, wrinkles, tears, adjusting colors or brightness, changing backgrounds in the images, or compositing product renderings and technical art into photo-realistic images.
  • Developing and advocating best practices as they apply to digital asset management across all team members.
  • Assist the Photographer with all aspects of the photography workflow: track product samples, assist with photo shoots, track photo assignments and approvals in project management tools, ensure photos are clipped and cleaned, upload photos to DAM system, and deliver links to assets to creative and web teams.
  • Data entry of metadata to all assets when applicable.
  • Conduct the daily management and improvement of the Digital Asset Management (DAM) system.

Success Factors:

  • Self-motivated and resourceful in finding creative solutions with given constraints.
  • Be an independent creative thinker. Not every task will have a creative brief, so you’ll need to be able to take charge and be your own art director at times.
  • Excellent team spirit and the willingness to prioritize the team’s success over other agenda.
  • Detail-oriented nature to ensure high-quality output with no errors.
  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks and deliver in a timely manner.
  • Be open to change, in both project direction and workflow in a quickly evolving environment.
  • Understanding of file formats, resolution, and color spaces for various mediums

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Must have an online portfolio demonstrating photo editing work
  • 2+ years experience in a related field
  • Bachelor's Degree in Photography, Graphic Design or equivalent work experience
  • Must be a Photoshop guru: You can take a product concept illustration and some stock images and create a photo-realistic product image from basically nothing
  • Capture One experience a plus

If you feel that the position of Photographer Retoucher & Digital Asset Coordinator is a good match for you, please be sure to submit your resume and portfolio link to us today for immediate consideration.
