Job Description

The School of Electrical, Computer, and Biomedical Engineering at Southern Illinois University at Carbondale is recruiting a PhD candidate for our doctoral programs.

Graduate Research Assistantships including afull tuition waiverandcompetitive stipendwill be available for this position. The start date is Spring semester 2024.


Research fields:

1. Biomedical Instrumentation (Automation)

2. Cellular and Molecular Biomechanics (Mechanosensitive Ion Channel)

3. Neuroscience/Neuromodulation


Required Education:

BS / MS degree in Biomedical / Electrical/ Mechanical Engineering field or Bio-related (Biology, Neuroscience, and Physiology) fields.
