Job Description


The Pharmacy at Yuma Regional Medical Center is a destination for pharmacy professionals who are interested in providing excellence in acute care. The entire staff works as a team of peers, working in all patient care areas. YRMC offers a PGY1 residency program each year and our pharmacy director and leaders take great pride in the ability to grow future pharmacists. Pharmacy Tech Trainees are individuals who are typically enrolled in a pharmacist program or pharmacy tech school who have not yet graduated. Under the supervision of a pharmacist, pharmacy tech trainees perform drug distribution activities including: delivery of medications to patient care and procedural areas, preparing and labeling dose medications, restocking automated dispensing cabinets, and assisting with basic medical inventory maintenance.


Minimum Requirements


  • Enrolled in a Pharmacy Tech program
  • Pharmacy Tech Trainee license in the state of Arizona
