Pharmacy Support Staff Jobs

NuCara Pharmacy is a dynamic community pharmacy serving patients in Iowa, Texas, North Dakota and Minnesota. At NuCara, we prioritize one-on-one patient counseling and medication management with the goal of delivering the best pharmacy value without sacrificing the quality of care prized by our patients.
We are looking for a part-time pharmacy support person to join our team in West Union, IA one to two full days a week and every-other Saturday. Duties would include customer service, ordering inventory, assembling displays, stocking shelves, preparing daily deposits and invoices and answering incoming calls. We are looking for candidates that enjoy working as a team to provide prompt, high quality care to our patients. Applicants should have strong communication and organizational skills.
Responsibilities For This Position Include

• Able to lift at least 30 pounds
• Efficient time management skills
• Effective reading comprehension to understand work-related documents
• Deliveries so must have a valid driver's license
• Great customer service skills. Actively searches for ways to assist people
• Able to stand for long times
• Ability to multi-task
• Good decision-making and problem-solving ability
• Proactive listener and effective speaker

Store hours are 8:30 am to 5:30 pm Monday to Friday and 9:00 am to 1:00 pm on Saturdays. The pharmacy is closed Sundays and all major holidays.
