Job Description

We’re looking for a Pharmacy Floor Supervisor to join our PharmScript team within our Floor Technician department. In this role, you’ll oversee the pharmacy floor and ensure all company protocols are followed.


The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail and is an effective communicator. They are always a team player, eager to jump in where needed and collaborate with others to support the goals of the pharmacy and needs of customers.


Key Responsibilities


  • Alerts pharmacist on duty of any medication/product that is not scanning properly
  • Packages materials and products manually
  • Follow all applicable government regulations including HIPPA
  • Complies with departmental policies regarding safety, attendance, and dress code.
  • Motivates team members and assesses performance
  • Assist in prepacking frequently ordered medications, label and store, as needed during low volume times
  • Assist in processing returned drugs and recycle/dispose per procedure
  • Fills daily drug orders accurately and efficiently in a timely manner, under the supervision of a pharmacist
  • Proven track record in leading teams to achieve production metrics
  • Maintains designated workstation areas and replenishes all stock supplies needed
  • Pull/pick medications from shelving and other medication storage areas (prepack racks)
  • Oversee all pharmacy floor technicians and ensure they are complying with all company local, federal, and state applicable policies and laws
  • Applies labels to blistercards or artromick boxes then scans product for accuracy check


Qualifications


  • 1 year or more of long-term care or retail pharmacy experience preferred
  • Preferred Pharmacy Technician in applicable State
  • High school diploma or GED is required
  • 2 or more year of long-term care or retail supervisor pharmacy experience preferred
