Pharmacist - Part Time

Essential Elements of the Job:

Accept verbal orders from voice mail and direct phone contacts

Counsel patients and doctors about our compounds and medications

Perform initial verification on all prescriptions and final verification on prescriptions filled in the Dispensing area.

Supervise technicians indirectly

Monitor work flow and collaborate with the team to make minor adjustments to address high volume areas as necessary

Provide superior customer service to patients and providers

Ensure compliance with Policies and Procedures

Strong comprehension of all applicable pharmacy rules and regulations

Assist with technician duties when workflow necessitates

Maintain compliance with Company and HIPAA patient confidentiality requirements

Perform other duties as assigned including, but not limited to: Attend conferences, precept students, coordinate journal club, provide individualized service to select providers, act as resident expert for certain conditions or medications/supplements, assist with inventories, project work
