Petcare Graphic Design Internship Experience

As a Petcare Graphic Design Intern, you will gain exposure to the following areas:

  • Expert knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite software applications, Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines Intermediate skills and interest in photography or videography
  • The Graphic Designer will be responsible for working autonomously with senior level internal stakeholders in marketing and sales to bring concepts to life. He or she will be responsible for partnering with Associate Brand Managers and Brand Managers to deliver high quality design assets that can be distributed through a variety of digital means to reach internal and external audiences.

  • Possession of creative flair, versatility, conceptual/visual ability and originality.
  • Work multiple projects simultaneously of varying levels of complexity.
  • Demonstrates graphic design skills with a strong portfolio.
  • Utilize Lighthouse our Digital Asset Management system
  • Work cross-functionally to interpret and understand the needs of the brand teams.
  • Thrives in a fast-paced environment and handles multiple ongoing projects simultaneously.
  • Support brand strategies and objectives and ensure continuity across all visual assets.
  • Think creatively and develop original design concepts, graphics and layouts that capture project briefs and target audience(s) through typography, design, color and photography that reflect brand guidelines.
  • Manage production timeline and review process. Develop and adjust work with review feedback.
  • Conceptual thinker who can bring concepts to life from either creative brainstorming sessions with brand teams or written creative briefs.
  • Up to date with industry leading software and technologies (Adobe Creative Suite)
  • Serve as a proactive and creative problem-solver who brings passion, enthusiasm and innovation to the team and overall organization
  • Utilize in-house software to upload content for approvals
