JOB SUMMARY:
Responsible for developing and implementing a specialized exercise regimen for a client. Ensures the fitness program meets the needs of the client and may include elements such as physical fitness, nutrition, cardiovascular training, and weight training. Offers guidance and support to clients in order to achieve their goals. Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within the fitness field. Relies on experience, judgment and creativity to plan and accomplish goals.
QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Recommended CPR certification from the American Heart Association
  • ACSM, ACE, NETA, NSCA, or approved National Certification required
  • Bachelor of Science in Health Promotions, Exercise Physiology or related field recommended
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing
  • High School diploma required
  • Ability to work with fitness impaired members
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
  • Must maintain a good level of physical conditioning necessary to instruct member in fitness

Schedule: PRN, Varied, Open hours, as needed
