Per Diem Registered Dietitian -Remote

Summary Of Job Function:

The Dietitian will assist in maintaining TPN formulas for Home Infusion Patients. Review and advise physicians on what is needed for the care of their patients. After successful completion of training will be able to work from home.

Job Qualifications:

Education/Training/Certification/Licensure: College Degree, licensed and certified as a dietitian and can practice in the State of New Jersey. Experience with TPN required.

Position Responsibilities

• Able to assist physician in devising TPN formulas when needed
• Assures patient, hospital and referral source satisfaction. No complaints registered.
• Understands and adheres to the company policy and requirements. EG: Snow day and sick time.
• Reports lab results, non-compliance and other patient problems to physician.
• Assist physician weekly with TPN adjustments when needed
• Check drug interactions and allergies when filling prescriptions.
• Responsible to send lab results to physician along with current TPN formula
• Participates in the coordination of care with all healthcare disciplines. Obtains all required documentation.
• Reviews lab work weekly for all TPN patients.
• Document changes to formula in an EMR and verbal order.
