Roles & Responsibilities:


  • Demonstrates the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care, based on physical, psychosocial, educational, safety, and related criteria, appropriate to the age of the patients served in assigned area.

  • Meets regulatory, licensure and annual health assessment requirements.
  • Conducts orientation activities/programs as required.
  • Creates and fosters a climate conducive to learning.
  • Participates in the planning, implementation and evaluation of the educational program.
  • The Instructor is responsible for providing teaching/learning experiences for students by providing classroom and/or clinical instruction. This includes facilitating and evaluating student learning in both theoretical and clinical learning experiences. The Instructor participates in formulating and implementing the philosophy, conceptual framework and objectives of the school and is cognizant of the philosophy, standards, objectives and policies of the Department and the Hospital Center.
    II. DESCRIPTION OF COMPETENCIES

Compensation

The Mount Sinai Health System (MSHS) provides a salary range to comply with the New York City Law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements. The salary range for the role is $60.00 - $65.00 Hourly. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, education, and hospital need. The salary range or contractual rate listed does not include bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation or benefits.
