Overview of the Position
Kindthread is always working to strengthen our organization by adding the best available people to our staff. We’re seeking a People Acquisition Specialist to help us recruit, identify, screen, and hire candidates for various roles in the company. This role requires excellent interpersonal skills for working closely with others across various departments. In addition, you’ll need to possess a marketing and sales mentality, excel in a fast-paced environment, and have strong critical thinking skills, focusing on finding the right candidate for the job.
Essential Job Duties
· Post open positions.
· Maintain job requisitions listing.
· Responsible for collecting and processing recruiting documents.
· Develop social media and event-based recruiting opportunities to identify applicants and secure referrals.
· Evaluate and screen candidates and assist them through the interview and hiring process.
· Develop and maintain internship program.
· Use recruiting metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of recruiting processes.
· Provide input to ensure that teams consist of diverse, qualified individuals.
· Ensure that staffing needs are being met with a long-term strategy in mind.
· Form close relationships with hiring managers to ensure clear expectations for candidates and interviewers.
· Assists the department in carrying out various human resource programs and procedures for all company employees.
· Must possess a “team-oriented” mindset with the willingness to pitch in when called upon.
Required Skills/Abilities:
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
· Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
· Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
· Ability to prioritize tasks.
· Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
· Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
· Proficiency with or the ability to quickly learn the organizations HRIS and talent management systems.
Education and Experience
· High School Diploma, some college preferred.
· Some recruiting experience preferred.
