PCB Designer - Electronics Technician
Responsibilities:

• Interface with Electrical, Mechanical and Production staff from design to final product.
• Create and manage PCB documentation including BOM, fabrication and assembly package
• Work with vendors and purchasing to ensure appropriate vendor design guidelines for manufacturability are incorporated into each design and to ensure design details are properly transferred to vendors.
• Test and debug completed PCBs to ensure correct manufacture, assembly and operation
• Develop and draft PCB designs for printed circuit boards with guidance from Electrical Engineers.

Job Requirements:

• Good knowledge of SMT PCB layout, package sizes and IPC standards.
• Strong understanding of circuit board design and design for manufacturability.
• Ability to perform Schematic capture and PCB layout design using Altium tools is preferred.
• Understanding of good board layout practices for both high speed operation and noise immunity
• Effective oral and written communication skills.
• Troubleshoot and repair PCBs and wire harnesses.
• Associate's Degree and/or equivalent technical training/certification in electrical engineering.
