Description
We are seeking a skilled PC Technician with expertise in SCCM and Office 365 to join our IT support team. As a PC Technician, you will play a vital role in managing and maintaining our organization's desktop infrastructure. Your responsibilities will include deploying and configuring software using SCCM, providing technical support for Office 365 applications, resolving hardware and software issues on desktops, and delivering exceptional customer service to our end-users.
Responsibilities
  • Utilize SCCM (System Center Configuration Manager) to deploy, update, and manage software applications across the organization's desktop environment.
  • Assist with the setup and onboarding of new employees, ensuring their workstations are properly configured and ready for use.
  • Install, configure, and maintain Windows operating systems (Windows 10, Windows 11) on end-user devices.
  • Diagnose and resolve hardware and software problems on PCs, laptops, and other peripheral devices.
  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance for Office 365 applications, including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams.
  • Train end-users on the effective use of software applications and provide guidance on IT best practices.
  • Perform routine maintenance and updates on desktop systems to ensure optimal performance and security.
  • Collaborate with end-users to understand their technical issues, provide effective solutions, and ensure timely problem resolution.
  • Respond to IT support tickets, emails, and phone calls in a courteous and professional manner.
  • Maintain accurate records of hardware and software inventory, as well as software licensing compliance.
Requirements
  • Proven experience as a PC Technician with specific expertise in SCCM and Office 365 support.
  • Proficiency in troubleshooting and resolving hardware and software issues on desktops and laptops.
  • Solid grasp of Windows operating systems, including installation, configuration, and troubleshooting.
  • Familiarity with basic networking concepts and protocols is an advantage.
  • In-depth understanding of Office 365 applications and their integration with desktop systems.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues.
  • Strong knowledge of SCCM for software deployment, updates, and patch management.
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively in a dynamic work environment.
  • Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical users.
