- Assist with HRIS and email reminders for timesheet submission and approval.
- Update employee change requests for tax forms and benefits changes.
- Manage operational support for terminated employees, including unemployment verification.
- Process new hire uploads, tax information, and direct deposit requests for new employees.
- Provide relevant change information to other teams.
- Manage ongoing distributions such as remote stipends and insurance payments.
- Code disability and paid family leave checks for processing.
- Process one-off requests for employee relocation and tuition reimbursement.
- Assist in processing retirement contributions and match.
- Generate ongoing reports for new hires, FSA/DFSA contributions, headcount, and insurance.
- Maintain timesheet information using Time and Attendance system.
- Update data for payroll, including executive annuity spreadsheets and exception reports.
- Transmit and backup payroll files using payroll system.
- Prepare reports such as open enrollment benefits reconciliation and headcount comparisons.
- Assist with the Variance Report, Overtime report, and SUI Payments.
- Process payroll payments and upload payroll files.
- Serve as a backup for tasks in the Associate Director's absence.
- Knowledge of payroll procedures and system requirements.
- Strong understanding of accounting and payroll journal entries.
- Discretion in handling confidential information.
- Associate's degree in Accounting or related experience.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively with others.
- Minimum of 3 years of payroll processing experience.
