Essential Functions

The Payroll Coordinator will provide assistance to the payroll team in all tasks as assigned. This is included, but not limited to:


  • Help process hr plant scans, deduction forms, direct deposits, SOX reporting, pay card assistance, etc. for all employees as needed.
  • Maintains employee confidence and protects payroll operations by keeping information confidential.
  • Enter payroll data into digital systems to keep all payroll files up to date.
  • Maintain payroll support inbox: emails, voicemails, etc. on a daily basis.
  • Assists in processing W-4 forms as needed along with potential team member tax corrections / adjustments.
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

Supervisory Responsibility


This position does not have supervisory responsibility.


Physical Demands


The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.


While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear. This position requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, and climbing all day. The employee may have to lift and/or move items over 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.


Position Type/Expected Hours of Work


This is a full-time position, Monday through Friday. Any additional schedule requirements will be decided by the Director of Human Resources & Services.


Travel


Travel would be minimal and would be primarily local during the business day.


Required Education And Experience


  • Ability to multitask with different requirements applying to the position.
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in a role requiring strong computer skills (i.e. Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook)


Preferred Education And Experience


  • Office experience.
  • Manufacturing/industry experience.
