Payments & Imaging Group Manager-Core Operations

The Payments and Imaging Division Group Manager in Core Operations is a senior management level position responsible for managing multiple teams through other managers. The overall objective of this role is to oversee the end results, budgeting, planning and implementation of the functional strategy across the Exception Payments and Imaging groups located in Sioux Falls, Florence, O'Fallon and San Antonio. This is a site dependent role with in office presence required 5 days a week.

Responsibilities:

• Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency, as well as effectively supervise the activity of others and create accountability with those who fail to maintain these standards.
• Act as an advisor and coach to new or junior level staff on procedures and work processes across multiple departments.
• Support trade capture management, Front to Back reconciliation, operational risk identification, and trade confirmation
• Implement and manage a successful risk/control environment, ensuring integrity of process, operations and end results
• Accountable for management of a complex / critical / large professional disciplinary area and operational function (Payment exceptions and Imaging)
• Contribute to short- to medium-term planning of actions and resources, and oversee the budget, and policy formation
• Open and amend Letters of Credit (L/Cs), process payments and interface with customers regarding issues
• Present and analyze/validate data to develop solutions that increase productivity, eliminate inefficiencies and save costs
• Lead change-the-bank projects, resolve escalated complex issues and balance potentially conflicting needs

Qualifications:

• Internal and External Stakeholder management
• Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication
• Attention to detail and intermediate problem solving skills
• 10+ years of experience in a related role

Education:

• Master’s degree preferred
• Bachelor’s degree/University degree or equivalent experience
