Job Description
Responsible for Pre – Registration of patients’ updating demographic and insurance information, collections of copays and financial counseling services, as needed. With a Fast Paced ever changing time sensitive environment. Multitasking is a must in Pre Reg world, working independently, self-disciplined, team-player, being productive, confident and self-motivated to meet the set daily algorithm. Opportunity to work remotely.
Qualifications: High School graduate or equivalent. Knowledge of medical terminology required. Basic knowledge of computers required. Previous healthcare or medical office experience required. Must type at least 35 wpm.
Location: FirstHealth of the Carolinas · Enterprise Scheduling
Schedule: Full Time - 40 Hours per Week, Day Shift, Must be available M-F 10am - 6:30 pm
