Patient Medication Liaison - Prior Authorization (Remote) - Full Time Position

Conduct prospective medication prior authorization services to expedite clinic and discharge workflow and enhance the patient experience.

Coordinate refill and prescription renewal requests by pre-screening patients for viable payment sources and managing reimbursement issues.

Facilitate effective working relationship and consistent communication between clinics, hospitals, patients, and pharmacy.

Identify and refer appropriate patients to medication assistance programs.

Perform duties of a pharmacy technician as required and other duties as assigned.

High school diploma or an equivalent combination of education and experience from which comparable knowledge, skills and abilities can be acquired.

Must apply prior to hire for Pharmacy Technician licensure by the Missouri Board of Pharmacy.

Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) certification by the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) within six (6) months as a condition of continued employment in this job classification.

Prefer 1 year of college and 2 years of retail pharmacy experience.
