Job Description


Starting at $16.00/hr. + (with experience may be subject to an increase)


  • Night Shift Differential


Rapid Decision Unit (Observation Unit) is a 15-bed observation admission unit that is on the same floor as the Emergency Department. There is 24/7 provider coverage on the unit with the admit to discharge goal of 23 hours. You will see a variety of adult med-surg type patients. Team includes Nurse Practitioners, Registered Nurse, Licensed Nurse Assistants and Monitor Technicians.


The Patient Care Assistant II assists patient care unit staff with delegated tasks of direct and indirect patient care, which support nursing practice under the direct supervision of a registered nurse; carries out designated activities that are within those functions limited by law to unlicensed nursing personnel.


Minimum Requirements


  • 2+ years related experience
  • High School Diploma/GED
  • BLS (American Heart Association)
  • Licensed Nursing Assistant (LNA) - State Board of Nursing - Arizona
