Job Description


At YRMC, our ED delivers all services 24/7, treating an average of 200 to 220 patients per day. This includes our internal observation unit staffed with designated RN’s and Nurse Practitioners. Through our intake process, patients receive rapid diagnostic testing such as labs and imaging to identify critical treatment needs and decrease delays. At YRMC, our ED nurses, physicians, APP’s, patient care attendants, pharmacists, radiology staff, and registration collaborate to improve patient outcomes and patient experience.


The Patient Care Assistant II assists patient care unit staff with delegated tasks of direct and indirect patient care, which support nursing practice under the direct supervision of a registered nurse; carries out designated activities that are within those functions limited by law to unlicensed nursing personnel.


Requirements


Licensed Nursing Assistant (LNA)


BLS (American Heart Association)


High School Diploma
