As a Patient Access Coordinator at Children’s Health, you will play an important part in helping children get the care they need.
As a warm, caring person who welcomes patients and their families when they arrive, you’ll put patients and their families at ease and set the tone for the rest of their visit. Your responsibilities will include efficiently processing patient registration, verifying patient information, processing payments, helping families complete paperwork, act as a liaison to resolve complex patient access and account issues or any additional issues that arise. You’ll also verify insurance coverage and obtain insurance authorizations.
This is a PRN position working as needed in the Admitting Department at Children's Health.
Hourly Pay is $23.29
Experience
Five years of experience in customer service with 4 years being in health care or patient access activities.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent
