  • This position requires proficiency in digital and social media – and excellent verbal and written communications skills.
  • This role reports to the Employee Communications team, a group within the Company’s global marketing and external affairs team.
  • The Social Media Content Specialist must be a strong writer – able to incorporate the brand story and communications strategy into engaging and impactful social copy.
  • Company is seeking a part-time (up to 20 hours) social media/communications specialist to support a social media employee advocacy program.
  • Prior experience in public relations, marketing communications, and/or social media management preferred.
  • It will also collaborate with the Content team (social media) co-leading the employee advocacy program.
  • This role requires understanding of social media best practices, community management and social listening, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Core responsibilities include:


  • Ensures strategic content cadence is executed.
  • Reviews and sends user-submitted content for approval following established protocol.
  • Manages two advocacy platforms where the content is shared to employees.
  • Manages and updates editorial calendar.
  • Drafts creative copy to go along with posts.
  • Identifies/organizes content to be uploaded.
  • Report and analyses metrics.
  • Manages intake of user (employees) questions and inquiries, escalating relevant inquiries.
Desired qualifications:


  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Communications, Digital or Public Relations, and/or 3-5 years of experience in those areas
  • Passionate about social media
  • Ability to work continuously throughout the 8-month project.
  • Strong analytical and superior judgment skills
  • Excellent writing skills, with an eye for proofreading and grammar.
