Our ideal candidate will have extensive marketing experience and comprehensive knowledge of branding. They will have the ability to lead a team of creatives and interact with clients on a regular basis.
Strategic Responsibility
To maximize consumer engagement and build strong platforms for clients by leading the marketing process for various projects, ensuring strategic alignment across all departments including social media, advertising, graphic design, video production, and streaming.
This role will serve as the primary creator, implementer and overseer of marketing plans and timelines that achieve business objectives for Marketing with Wisdom and its clients. They will serve as the center point of an extended marketing team that includes designers, digital advertisers, social media managers, and outside vendors for assigned projects. They are also responsible for communicating marketing plans and progress to internal and external stakeholders.
Responsibilities
●Lead the development of our marketing plans working closely with clients, management, creative and content teams, and distribution partners, to create an effective and efficient marketing strategy focused on growing audiences for our clients’ products and services
●Spearhead the strategic and tactical execution of marketing campaigns, including design of test/control segmentation, implementation of tests, tracking, results reporting, analysis, and recommendations
●Manage conception, development, and implementation of marketing plans and strategies, product concepts, and promotional programs to drive interest and sales
●Hold regular meetings with the internal team and/or vendors to review pipeline, resolve challenges, and present possible solutions, and provide ongoing training to ensure team consistently performs above standard
●Work with clients to develop brand and positioning
●Write strategic briefs that guide the team to create product plans and marketing collateral aligned with the strategy
●Serve as an information hub for the internal team and assigned clients, and provide status updates as needed
●Work in conjunction with the supervisor to achieve budget accountability with each project
●Implement and monitor progress of all parts of the marketing plan throughout the life of the project
●Point of contact with clients for creating marketing and promotional items
●Manage and write sales copy, promo copy, and other product copy as needed
●Work as part of a team to evaluate and analyze effectiveness of various marketing and promotional initiatives and make continuous improvements
●Manage social media profiles for MwW brand and its clients: writing copy, designing posts, monitoring comments/messages, implementing growth and proactive engagement strategies
●Work with supervisor and MwW team members to determine if/when outside resources are required
● Perform other job-related duties as assigned
KPI’s (Key Performance Indicators)
●Facilitates positive interactions with clients at all times to ensure seamless collaboration between internal and external stakeholders when implementing marketing plans.
●Successfully lead and manage projects, and retain clients long-term
●Successfully manage at least 3 different brands’ social media accounts seeing ongoing growth in followers and engagement
Skills and Qualifications
●Bachelor’s degree in marketing, advertising, or communications and/or 5+ years of experience in marketing or related field – or equivalent combination of education and experience.
●Successful track record in marketing roles and creating/executing marketing campaigns
●Excellent leadership, communication, and decision-making skills
●Experience with digital marketing, content marketing, and social media marketing
●Proven ability to plan and manage budgets
●Excellent project management, organizational and consultative skills
●Prior music marketing experience strongly preferred
●Must be adept at organizing/managing projects and meeting timelines
●Possess a demonstrated ability to translate strategy into effective tactics
●Ability to manage multiple tasks and work in a fast-paced environment on short deadlines
●Experience with digital advertising, SEO, social media, marketing music and/or working with artists highly desirable
●Experience with graphic design, video/audio editing, and managing multiple social media profiles
●Knowledge and experience with MS Office, G Suite, Adobe Creative Suite, Facebook Business Manager, Spotify, Apple Music, iTunes, YouTube, Amazon Music, Pandora, and video/audio editing software
●Knowledge and experience with Asana, Squarespace, and/or Wordpress, a plus
●Ability to work remotely, including a quiet place to do video/phone calls
●Experience working with artists/managers/churches highly desirable

Work Hours & Benefits
●15-25 hours a week during our normal business hours (8:30am - 5:00pm CST), Monday through Friday
●Some travel may be required from time to time
