  • Full-Time Overnight Care Partner/QMAP RequiredSunday-Thursday, 10:00pm-6:15am 39-hrs/week Hiring Range: $17.50-$18.00 DOE, There is an additional $1/hr shift differential for overnights. Job Responsibilities: Monitors daily status of residents and execute individualized resident care plans. Keeps Director of Assisted Living informed of progress, problems, and changes in resident behavior and/or functioning. Provides non-scheduled cleaning of residents’ apartments on a PRN basis during times housekeeper is not available. Provides assistance with residents’ linens, laundry and ironing. Provides assistance with residents’ bathing, grooming and hair care. This assistance is unique to each resident and determined through the Individual Resident Care Plan. Provides monitoring of residents’ medication routine as specified by State regulations and Kavod Assisted Living medication policies and procedures. Provides assistance for residents with dressing and undressing as determined through the Individual Resident Care Plan. Provides encouragement and guidance for residents’ development of self-care capabilities and personal hygiene, as needed. Assists with AL meals to assure a pleasurable dining experience for residents; i.e. assist residents to make food choices, help serve, cut up food. Escorts residents to meals and building activities, as needed. Personal and physical assistance such as lifting, transferring, or carrying will not be done by staff. Provides regular contact checks and reassurance for residents and document anything out of the ordinary. Maintains a positive attitude with residents, families and community members to ensure the agency standards for good service are achieved. Provides other non-medical services as deemed appropriate to assist residents in regaining and retaining independence from a physical setback. Works with the Assisted Living team and agency staff to assist with special projects. Responds to resident emergencies by following Kavod’s Resident Emergency Procedures & Guidelines. Performs additional agency custodial services as designated by the Director of Assisted Living. Attends monthly staff meetings as scheduled by the Director of Assisted Living and/or Kavod’s Management team. Assists and/or facilitates AL activities as assigned by the Director of Assisted Living. Encourages residents to attend activities. Completes necessary training for Assisted Living staff required by the various regulating agencies on a timely basis. Avails him/herself to work back up for fellow workers. Complies with all HIIPA and CDPHE regulations regarding the rights of the residents and the organization to confidentiality. Information of the agency and the residents should never be given out except through normal channels and with appropriate authorization. Job Requirements: Must be 18 years of age or older with a high school diploma or general education degree (GED) and he/she must read, write and speak English. Fulfillment of all training and other regulatory requirements (i.e. QMAP certification, First Aid/CPR training). Experience providing personal care and housekeeping for elderly and/or certified nurse’s aide training is helpful, but not required. Physical Demands: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; sit; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; and stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, or smell. The employee frequently is required to climb or balance. The employee may regularly lift and/or move up to 30 pounds.   • Full-Time Leasing SpecialistSalary: $18.00 – $19.50 per hour SUMMARY: The Leasing Specialist performs leasing functions for Kavod Senior Life in accordance with HUD guidelines, all Federal and State laws, and Kavod policies & procedures. Provides support to Chief Financial Officer and President/CEO, as appropriate. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Preparation of certification notices per HUD regulations and distribution to residents, scheduling appointments Schedules and participates in in-person resident meetings to collect required documentation Conduct apartment inspections & enter the deficiencies into the work order system Make copies of all required documentation & return originals to resident Timely compile recertification worksheet for audit/review by the 20th of each month. Send notices by the 1st of the month for residents to sign recertification Collect signatures and explain any applicable rent changes to resident. Post tenant payments. Communicate concerns regarding personal or social tenant problems that arise that are not of a leasing nature. Keep current on all updates and changes in HUD and Fair Housing programs and requirements. Maintain resident files and various leasing data spreadsheets. Assist with annual audit all tenant files (move-ins & current residents) prior to annual CHFA review in accordance with internal practices. Archive tenant files to storage. Assist Leasing Manager with maintaining archived files. QUALIFICATIONS: Associate’s degree (A.A.) from an accredited college or university; or one to two years’ experience and/or training in bookkeeping and/or leasing; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience in performing HUD-subsidized project leasing-related activities strongly preferred. Ability to read and interpret documents. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively one-on-one or to groups. Bi-lingual skills preferred (Russian/English) (Spanish/English) Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to count U.S. currency and calculate correct change. To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Microsoft Outlook contact management systems; Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word.
