Part Time Senior Bus Driver

The Charter Township of Shelby's Senior Center is now accepting applications for a part-time Bus Driver. Interested candidates must be available to work approximately 8-16 hours a week, Monday-Friday 8:30am - 5:00 pm. Applicants must possess a valid Chauffer License or Commercial Driver's License with passenger endorsement preferred. The hourly wage for this position is $18.64, no benefits.

Some duties associated with this classification include, but are not limited to:

• Report any vehicle problems to the appropriate person
• Maintain and complete a log sheet for each day
• Assist in the office during downtime
• Provide transportation based on a daily schedule
• Inspect bus at the end of the day
• Fuel bus as needed
• Prepare incident paperwork when necessary
• Inspect bus prior to use for the day
