Parks Foreman Jobs

The City of Holdrege, NE, is accepting applications for a Parks Foreman. Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States and have a valid CDL or be able to attain one within six months of hire. Qualifications include, but are not limited to, a working knowledge of horticulture and the methods, materials, and equipment common to manual labor and swimming pool maintenance; an operational understanding of hazards and safety practices common to park equipment and swimming pool maintenance chemicals; the ability to reliably organize, coordinate, and supervise the work of others in an uncontrolled outside environment. The successful candidate will have the necessary skills to understand and communicate written and oral instructions and an above-average aptitude for maintaining productive working relationships with department heads and co-workers.
The Parks Foreman position includes a 40-hour work week with the possibility of overtime on nights or weekends and has a beginning salary range of $22.05 to $28.59 per hour commensurate with qualifications and experience.
