Summary:
To provide care to patients at Cook Childrens Medical Center under the direction of the medical director. To perform support functions related to unit operations. To support and supplement the health care team in designated areas of the hospital.
This is a 22-week seasonal position. Minimum hours are 24 hours per week. ACTs must be available to start on the dates listed below. Orientation is 3 full days and an additional day of Epic training if you do not test out of the Epic exam. Pay rate is $41.20/hr plus shift differentials and a 10% completion bonus if you complete the contracted hours.
2023 Winter Plan Dates:
9/25/23 - 2/24/24
10/22/23 - 3/23/24 (Internal Employees Only)
11/6/23 - 4/6/24
Shift: 7p - 7a

Education:
  • Completion of accredited paramedic training.
  • At least one (1) years experience as a paramedic.
  • High School Diploma.
Certification/Licensure:
  • Paramedic Certification or Licensure.
  • Basic Life Support Provider, and at least one of the following: Pediatric Advanced Life Support, Pediatric Education for Pre-Hospital Professionals, or Emergency Pediatric Care.
