Job Details

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Permanent Paralegal to join our team in the legal industry. The ideal candidate must have a minimum of 3+ years of experience in paralegal, insurance defense paralegal, and civil defense litigation. This is a full-time position with an excellent benefits package.

Responsibilities

• Manage case files and maintain accurate records
• Collaborate with attorneys and other legal professionals to provide excellent client service
• Assist with case settlements and negotiations
• Attend court hearings and trials as needed
• Conduct legal research and analysis
• Manage case deadlines and ensure timely filings
• Communicate with clients, witnesses, and opposing counsel
• Assist attorneys in preparing for trials, hearings, and depositions
• Prepare legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and discovery requests

Qualifications

• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Detail-oriented and able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and legal research databases
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Minimum of 3+ years of experience in paralegal, insurance defense paralegal, and civil defense litigation
• Bachelor's degree in paralegal studies or related field preferred
• Knowledge of e-discovery and trial presentation software
