YOUR MISSION (The )

If you trained alongside "Danielson" at "Mr. Miyagi's" hard knock school of painters (google "The Karate Kid"), then you will be perfect for this job! "Side to side...up and down" - the painter is responsible for painting, plastering, and wallpapering public areas to ensure a safe, efficient well-maintained hotel environment.

We expect you to communicate, coordinate and work well with other teammates, managers and guests. Most of all, we want you to have FUN since you will play a huge role in creating that memorable guest experience!

THE NITTY-GRITTY (The Essential Job Duties)

In helping you understand your role in working for a progressive, environment conscious, world class organization, the following is a list of your essential job responsibilities. Please keep in mind that this list is not all inclusive and that you may be asked to perform other job tasks by your supervisors/managers not listed below in the constant quest to provide an extraordinary customer service experience for our guests:

• Keep the hotel décor in good condition
• Clean all work areas after completing job
• Have a thorough understanding of the fire alarm procedures and other emergencies
• Maintains (paint, wallpaper, plaster, etc.) all public areas and guest rooms on an on-going basis

WHAT IT TAKES (The Qualities We Look For)

• Must have ability to communicate effectively and courteously with employees, guests and contractors in writing, via telephone and in person

MUST HAVE'S

• Minimum of 1 year experience as a commercial painter
• Ability to communicate in English clearly and pleasantly with guests, management/co-workers, both in person and on the telephone.
• Current, legal and unrestricted ability to work in the United States.

Just like you communicate through your smart phone via text, social media or an actual phone conversation, please communicate directly with the Director of Engineering regarding your work schedule, daily work tasks and responsibilities as well as general work-related issues. Face-to-face conversation is preferred of course

THE WORKING CONDITIONS

• Must have upper body strength to lift 75lbs. throughout an 8-hour shift. Must have leg strength and ability to crawl into and through small spaces, climb ladders, support and carry loads of 75 pounds
• Must have finger, hand and upper body dexterity to pull levers and rotate knobs, work with arms raised above head and to handle and assemble small parts using basic hand and power tools
