  • Ensures that only poor quality is disposed.
  • Assists machine operator in the performance of related quality tests.
  • Follows all Safety Rules of the company.
  • Keeps inspection tables cleared and clean; assists operator in housekeeping duties.
  • Reads shop order to determine bag specifications, correct put up, and supplies
  • Assists operator in keeping machine running during machine change.
  • Communicates promptly to operator and other crewmembers any quality defects.
  • Ensures that uncertain quality receives Q. A. and Supervisor's review/approval.
  • Communicates unsafe acts or conditions to shift supervisor.
  • Inspects production to ensure bags are made to shop order specifications.
  • Keeps area (table surfaces and floors) neat and orderly at all times.
  • Ensures packing supplies are ready at machine startup; keeps all paperwork, tools, and supplies organized to avoid wasting time looking for them.

Job Requirements


  • Ability to read a ruler
  • Good communication skills
  • Available to work 2nd (3pm - 11pm) or 3rd shift (11pm - 7am)
  • Must complete Safety Orientation, Departmental Safety Training and OSHA Standards Training
  • Team Player
  • High School or GED diploma required
