The Packaging Lead is expected to support the Sr Packaging Manager & Packaging Supervisor in overseeing the Cold/Warm Gramming Teams in the Packaging Department. This person will ensure the responsibilities, rules, and QC standards are executed, with a commitment to 710Labs core values of Quality over Everything.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Directs and assigns work to employees to achieve goals.
• Ensure all employees are following General SOPs, Freezer Storage SOPs, Gramming and Boxing SOPs.
• Ensure the department maintains a clean working environment.
• Restock materials and products daily (Caps, medal disks, tools, etc)
• Able to work with other departments and help out if needed.
• Attend meetings with Management when requested.
• Notifies supervisor/manager of any equipment failures and supply needs for the department.
• Update production logs, gramming logs, and daily ERP updates.
• Place material out for grammers each morning and throughout the day as needed.
• Ensuring all product weights, containers, and jars are accounted for.
• Communicates any performance or production concerns to supervisor/manager.
• Ensuring all required paperwork is completed.
• Leads, guides, and communicates to employees in a professional manner.
• Work closely with Lab to ensure successful and accurate product transfers.
• Notifies supervisor/manager of any product issues including damage or contamination.
• Provides training and development to new and existing employees.
• Help gram/box as needed to reach department goals.

Qualifications

• Able to work in a fast paced environment.
• Detail oriented with an eye on process improvement and optimization.
• 1-2 years of management, supervisor, or lead experience.
• Ability to multitask effectively.
• Able to lift 50lbs.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.
• Able to work on feet for 8 hours.
• Able to work in a cold refrigerated room for extended periods of time.

Compensation + Benefits

• Pay Range: $22.00/hour - $24.00/hour
• Benefit package includes medical, dental, vision, Life/AD&D, 401K with company match, paid time off, and holidays.
