Job Description

Owner-Operators

Qualifications:

  • Valid CDL-A driver’s license
  • Must pass DOT physical and drug screen
  • No more than 2 preventable accidents in the last 3 years
  • Must have 2 years’ verifiable tractor/trailer experience
  • Safe driving record
  • No more than 3 moving violations on their current MVR (excessive speed, careless, reckless or alcohol related)
  • No preventable accidents involving a fatality, bodily injuries treated away from the scene, or disabling damage to a motor vehicle within last 3 years.
  • Minimum age of 23

Compensation:

  • One-week settlement turnaround
  • 70/30 split

Expenses Covered by Holland Transfer:

  • Trailer maintenance
  • Equipment inspections (must pass quarterly)
  • Scale tickets
  • IFTA – optional
  • Liability insurance
  • Authorized toll road fees with proper receipt (must match log)

Expenses Covered by Owner/Operator:

  • All maintenance and related items to own equipment
  • Fuel/Oil costs
  • Collision and bobtail insurance
  • Electric On Board Records (EOBRs)
  • Fuel and mileage taxes
