Four Seasons Resort and Residences Jackson Hole is looking for an Overnight Front Desk Supervisor who is dedicated to providing exceptional quality and service to our guests. The Overnight Front Desk Supervisor must supervise the staff of the entire hotel during the overnight shift. This position requires working closely with the staff from all departments to assure that standards are being met. The Overnight Front Desk Supervisor responds to a wide variety of guest requests by accurately assessing the guest needs and requests and then adding personal recommendations and touches to achieve maximum customer satisfaction while complying with all Four Seasons’ policies. This position is a strong stepping stone for a candidate interested in pursuing an Assistant Manager career. Work authorization for the location is required.

Responsibilities

  • The Overnight Front Desk Supervisor must maintain complete responsibility of the Overnight shift. Commonly working alone requires handling all guest requests with confidence, and ensuring to create a schedule where everything gets completed.

Welcomes and registers hotel guests, explaining the accommodations and establishing credit or method of payment.

  • Checks guest out of the hotel, preparing and explaining the bill. Responds to a wide variety of guest requests by accurately assessing the guest needs and requests and then adding personal recommendations and touches to achieve maximum customer satisfaction while complying with all Four Seasons’ policies.
  • Resolves customer complaints, handling all guest interactions with the highest level of hospitality and professionalism, accommodating special requests whenever possible; assists customers in all inquiries in connection with hotel services, hours of operations, key hotel personnel, in-house events, directions, etc.
  • Responds to all guest requests in an accurate and timely manner. Interaction with guest will be in person and by phone.
  • Maintains a balanced bank assigned by the hotel. Makes change, cashes checks, exchanges foreign currency. Reconciles all transactions at the close of each shift.
  • Utilizes a variety of computer systems to check guests in and out, run daily reports and select and block rooms for arriving guests.
  • Works harmoniously and professionally with co-workers and supervisors.
  • Accepts reservations, changes and cancellations in the absence of Reservations Department Staff. Can answer guest calls and direct them appropriately in the absence of a Communications Operator.

- Must provide the AM Supervisor with a proper hand- off of events from the prior night each morning, ensuring to include clear and precise details.

Preferred Qualifications and Skills

  • Must be willing to work a flexible schedule in order to accomplish all major responsibilities. This may include some evenings, weekends and holidays.
  • Possess experience as a Front Desk Receptionist in a luxury hotel or resort.
  • Candidates must have excellent personal presentation and interpersonal skills.
  • This position requires the ability to lift up to 40lb
  • Successful candidate must possess legal work authorization in the United States
  • Fluent in English and a second language is encouraged.
