Outpatient Services Coordinator (Clinical Research)

As a Outpatient Services Coordinator, you are responsible for performing the initial informed consent process with potential study subjects, collecting study-specific data as part of the screening process, completing outpatient study visits, conducting check in procedures on admission subjects.

We are conveniently located on the University of Maryland BioPark campus and provide paid parking for all employees.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates with other departments in preparing study screening documentation.
• Screens potential participates to ensure they understand the basic details of the study and to make sure they meet protocol specific inclusion/exclusion criteria.
• Demonstrates an attitude of customer service towards participants.
• Works with management to develop optimal workflow of screening activities.
• Performs administrative tasks to support team members with clinical trial execution as needed.
• Assists with Outpatient follow-up visits.
• Maintain knowledge of protocols and general operation of the unit.
• Conducts screening activities of potential subjects.

Education

• Prior scribe experience
• Bachelors in Life Sciences or related degree, preferred
