Orthopedic Surgery - Foot and Ankle

UVA Orthopedics is seeking a full time Foot & Ankle, Trauma Surgeon to join our busy and established group in Culpeper, Virginia.

Our burgeoning practice is affiliated with the Department of Orthopedics at the University of Virginia, which was ranked #1 in Virginia by U.S. News and World Report. Our team consists of 10 surgeons and two Physicians Assistants.

Our physicians provide both surgical and non-surgical treatments including:

  • Adult and pediatric spine conditions.
  • Fracture care and repair.
  • Rotator cuff tears, labral tears and shoulder instability.
  • ACL and meniscus tears, ligament tears and knee injuries.
  • Carpal tunnel, trigger finger, cubital tunnel and other hand/wrist conditions.
  • Surgery, rehabilitation and postoperative follow-up visits are performed at UVA Culpeper Medical Center.
  • Hip, knee and shoulder arthritis (joint replacements).

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

Education:

  • Graduate of Accredited Medical School with degree of Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO). Completion of Accredited Residency in chosen specialty.

Licensure:

  • Board certification in specialty (if newly graduated from residency, must be obtained within 2 years of graduation) must be kept current, Unrestricted license to practice within the Commonwealth of Virginia, Current DEA certificate without restriction
  • Fellowship training in Foot and Ankle Surgery
