The Naked Lunch Team Member is responsible for day-to-day service at MOM’s locations with Naked Lunch Kitchens. They are responsible for maintaining cleanliness, sanitation, and quality in a fast-paced environment, while providing exceptional customer service. As an integral part of the team, they work together to set up the kitchen, and prepare all ingredients needed from scratch to provide the freshest dining experience possible.
Some Responsibilities Include:

  • Complete all closing and opening tasks, according to checklists provided
  • Participate in development of menu specials, including soups and muffins
  • Communicate challenges and successes with management, to help continue improving the operation
  • Evaluate needs and prep ingredients according to established procedures, while maintaining food safety and sanitation
  • Provide friendly, accurate service to customers while completing made-to-order dishes
  • Properly store all ingredients according to food safety guidelines
  • Clean the kitchen and service area throughout the day, including washing dishes and utensils
  • Set up the kitchen for service, including placement of all tools and ingredients

Requirements:

  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand longer hours
  • Ability to prioritize tasks that change frequently and manage unexpected demands

  • Excellent attention to detail, especially with communication (written and verbal) and meeting deadlines
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Vegetarian food knowledge
  • Proper knife skills
  • Experience with safe food handling (FDA)
  • ServeSafe Certification
  • Experience reading/executing recipes, especially weighing and measuring
  • Food service and/or customer service experience
