Order Picker/Packer Jobs

Jetpack Shipping is looking for Order Picker/Packers. High volume pick, pack and ship environment. We have multiple openings for direct hire employment. The shift runs from 7am to 3:30pm Monday through Friday. We also have Saturday work available when needed. Voluntary overtime is offered when available. We are seeking employees with previous experience, reliable, good work history and those who bring a positive attitude every day. Summary
The Order Picker/Packer will prepare orders for shipping. They will utilize requisitions and order sheets to pick a wide variety of items, place and arrange items in containers and bins following specific instructions. The picker/packer will check containers for damage, and confirm correct items and quantities are selected. They will pack orders and prepare them for shipping.
Responsibilities

• Maintains a clean, sanitary, and safe work area.
• Follows good manufacturing practices and required work safe practices.
• Other duties as assigned.
• Monitors product quality frequently, reporting problems to mitigate safety issues.
• Utilizes continuous improvement mindset and assists in identifying opportunities to improve processes.
• Keeps products separated, organized and in good rotation.
• Meets specifics of customer orders in a timely manner.
• Reports any mechanical problems.
• Pulls and packs products based on daily orders.

Abilities/Skills/Knowledge Requirements

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent
• 6 months retail or customer service experience preferred
• Familiarity with Radio Frequency (RF) equipment preferred
