Oracle Pl/Sql Developer

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer information systems, information technology, or a combination of education and experience equating to the U.S. equivalent of a Bachelor’s degree in one of the aforementioned subjects.

As an Oracle PL/SQL Developer, the candidate would be responsible for Coordinates with the front-end design team to provide them with the necessary stored procedures and packages and the necessary insight into the data. Understand and collect the requirements from Business user side or Business Analyst and try to convert that requirement to SQL queries or PL SQL. Develop interfaces to migrate data from integrated system to Data Warehouse environment, providing availability of information in real time. Works on SQL*Loader to load data from flat files obtained from various facilities every day. Perform SQL and PL/SQL tuning and Application tuning using various tools like EXPLAIN PLAN, SQL*TRACE, TKPROF and AUTOTRACE. Generate server-side PL/SQL scripts for data manipulation and validation and materialized views for remote instances. Create PL/SQL stored procedures, functions and packages for moving the data from staging area to data mart. Partition the fact tables and materialized views to enhance the performance. Handle errors using Exception Handling extensively for the ease of debugging and displaying the error messages in the application. Write conversion scripts using SQL, PL/SQL, stored procedures, functions and packages to migrate data from SQL server database to Oracle database. Create various jobs to transform the data using UC4. Use GitHub for code maintenance and have used XL Deploy to deploy the changes to Production. Develop reports, dashboards using Tableau for quick reviews to be presented to Business and IT users. Expertise in creating the indexes on tables and partitioning the table for SQL tuning purpose.
