Oracle Hyperion Epbcs It Specialist

This position will be responsible for supporting Hyperion Planning/Oracle EPBCS implementation projects as well as ongoing maintenance and support of existing applications.

Job Responsibilities

• Oversee and provide input to technical designs created by teammates and contractors.
• Design, build, test, deployment of Oracle EPBCS objects including Webforms, Business Rules, and integration components.
• Familiarity with Groovy scripting and modularized coding (Calc Manager / Scripts / Templates / Run Time Variables)
• Expertise in MDX syntax and ASO tuning and optimization
• Maintaining data integrity and performing data pre-seeding
• Supporting users and conducting training for end-user community

Status and Scope

Oracle EPBCS platform aimed at all US FSS lines of business plus Corporate / HQ. Total user base will round out at ~3,500 users.

Qualifications

• Shared Services and Oracle Life Cycle Management (LCM)
• Strong organizational and documenting skills
• Data Management / FDMEE / EPM Automate / BAT scripting
• Financial Reporting Web Studio
• 3-4 years experience in Hyperion EPM ecosystem (must include Oracle EPBCS / cloud)
• Experience with Groovy (or similar Java based programming languages)
• Demonstrable development and/or configuration experience in the following Hyperion Planning and Essbase components:
• Knowledge of EPBCS frameworks, esp. Financials, Workforce Planning
• Degree in Information Systems or Business Administration w/IT concentration preferred
• Web Forms / Smart Pushes / Data Maps
• Exposure to integration suite using Oracle Data Integrator (ODI), Oracle SQL Developer, and knowledge of Oracle PL/SQL
• Experience with industry standard IT change control processes
• Business Rules / Calc Scripts / Calc Manager
