Exciting opportunity for a qualified Therapist I, II or III to provide mental health treatment and therapy assessment to adolescent youth. To provide documentation under state laws. Coordinates with community resources to gain and exchange information. Supports the services that therapist provide to clients.

Starting Pay Range -
Therapist I - $25 - $26.91
Therapist II - $26 - $27.84
Therapist III - $30.50- $31.73

Position Summary:

Serve as part of a multiservice clinical team at Clark County Youth House. Provide recovery-oriented services to CRMHS enrolled youth ages 14-25. Once credentialed, provide Intake evaluation, individual therapy, group therapy and psycho education in the community or at CRMHS locations.

Essential Job Functions:

• Utilization of the Transition to Independence Process model, Core Gift and 5 ally strategies.
• Work with clients in the community and in the clinic setting.
• Provide therapeutic services in community setting.
• Use evidence based modalities to establish therapeutic rapport and facilitate active engagement in treatment.
• Possess knowledge of client rights and ensure an atmosphere that allows for consumer privacy, dignity, and well-being in a safe secure environment.
• Routinely assess for level of risk, and respond to emergent situations.
• Conduct diagnostic assessments
• Provide therapeutic intervention to address identified treatment and recovery goals
• Perform all job responsibilities in accordance with prescribed safety and infection control procedures.
• Maintain an acceptable number of client contact hours per month.
• Coordinate care with relevant internal and external providers and informal supports. Provide case management activities.
• Continuously assess client status and determine ongoing medical necessity for treatment.
• Develop Individual Service Plans that identify areas of clinical intervention and/or need which include a specific time frame for the completion of each identified goal.
• Complete all documentation and charting as required by law or agency contract.
• Work within a multidisciplinary treatment team.
• Participate in case consultation as indicated.

Non-essential Job Functions:

• Attend staff and planning meetings as scheduled.
• Other duties as assigned by Supervisor.
• Maintain communication and cooperative working relationships both within the agency and community at large.

Education, Licensing and Experience:

• Conducting mental health assessments, providing individual counseling, case management and treatment planning services preferred.
• Master’s degree in Behavioral Health or Social Work
• Working experience of local mental Health community is preferred.
• Experience in providing treatment to persons with mental illness or severe emotional disturbances.
