Responsibilities
The Optician is responsible for dispensing eyeglasses and contact lenses to patients under the supervision of the department supervisor, lead optician, ophthalmologist or optometrist. The optician has the ability to properly order and service frames, lenses, contact lenses, and optical supplies. The optician is responsible for adhering to all departmental policies and procedures.
Qualifications
CPR certification required. Current certification by the American Board of Opticianry preferred. Non-certified ophthalmic medical personnel with at least 2 years experience as an optician preferred. General clerical skills, including computer data entry experience, basic math skills, and experience with office equipment (multi-line phones, fax, copier, etc.) required.

Education, experience and tenure may be considered along with internal equity when job offers are extended.; $20.11-28.20/ hour
