Job Description
Overview:

In preparation for our new services under the Reserve Health Readiness Program (RHRP), we are currently searching for enthusiastic, service-oriented Opticians to work with us providing services to the military during health assessment events.
Responsibilities:
  • Adjust frames so they fit properly
  • Provide best possible eyewear solution that is responsive to each patient needs.
  • Interpret the results of eye examinations, using prescriptions written by Optometrists
  • Measure patients to determine suitable types and styles of frames
Qualifications:
  • Experience working with military - preferred
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience or training in similar position.
  • A.B.O. certification - a plus
  • Passionate, friendly, and caring
  • Self-motivation, and ability to work under pressure
  • Available for weekends and occasional weekdays
  • Must have weekend availability
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
