Operations Supervisor Jobs

About The Role

This role will primarily support our Bay Area warehouse and dispatch operations, but there are also opportunities to expand to manage vendor and logistics operations in the field. You would report to the San Francisco Internal Operations Manager and be accountable to the advancement of warehouse operational metrics, training new employees, and eventually manage of 4-5 direct reports.

In this role, you will...

• Use the lean principles of DMAIC to execute strategic initiatives, measure outcomes, and improving processes.
• Establish rapport with your directs and peers by building a strong working knowledge of our internal tools and processes.
• Make a measurable impact by contributing in strategic prioritization of goals
• Manage a team of full and part-time hourly Operations Associates to achieve results through effective mobilization and management of team resources.
• Embrace change and ambiguity in a constantly changing environment.
• Use data to lead fact-based discovery and inform, develop and re-engineer operational processes.

As the ideal candidate, you...

• Have 1-2 years of prior People Management experience (interviewing, hiring, nad coaching)
• Have an Associates degree or higher.
• Are comfortable with change and ambiguity
• Are Data Driven and are able to develop his or her own analytics to support a hypothesis
• Understand Lean Principles and have an eye for continuous improvement
• Are a Strong communicator in the face of rapid change and adaptation
