SANTA CRUZ COUNTY, CA
Job Title: Operations Field Supervisor
Status: Full-Time Exempt Role
SUMMARY: Under the direction of the Operations Manager, the Field Supervisor is responsible for day-to-day
operations which may include staffing, scheduling, ensuring maintenance of equipment and supplies, internal
communications, budgetary considerations, outside agency interface, and community relations.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
  • Work collaboratively with all allied health and public safety personnel at all times to ensure excellent
customer service and the best possible patient care.
  • Acts in a professional manner and treats all patients, customers, and team members with dignity and

  • Investigate incidents involving assigned units and communicate with the Operations Manager on status

  • Inspect all assigned stations, vehicles and equipment for cleanliness and general maintenance.

Minimum Qualifications
  • Some advanced education preferred.
  • Possess a valid California Driver’s License, Ambulance Driver’s License, and Medical Examiners Certificate.
  • Effective oral, written and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Current state of California Paramedic License.
  • Current BCLS, ACLS, PALS or PEPP, BTLS OR PHTLS Provider Certification.
  • High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
  • Effective administrative skills (paperwork, time management, etc.), written and verbal communication skills.
  • Driving record in compliance with AMR policy regarding insurability.
  • Minimum of two (2)years experience as a Paramedic.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.

Salary Range: $35,000 - $75,000.
