Operations Manager Jobs

We are looking for a dynamic and experienced operations-supply chain manager for our growing beverage company. We seek candidates who are proven problem-solvers, team players and self-starters.We prioritize candidates with an entrepreneurial and detailed mindset, who can adjust to unplanned circumstances.

Main Responsibilities:

·Oversee all logistics operations,including two direct reports who manage warehouse and transportation of inbound and outbound freight.

·P&L ownership over inbound freight, outbound freight, warehousing costs, storage costs, shortages and damages and all re-packaging/assembly costs

• Maintain active relationship with suppliers, co-packer and transportation partners.
• Routinely perform RFP’s while strategically managing relationships with our logistics partners and material suppliers to ensure we are always getting competitive prices.

·Own inventory management systems to ensure that we maintain optimal levels of inventory,including reconciling end of month inventory at each warehouse.

• Work closely with executive team to forecast monthly production.

·Develop and implement supply chain strategies to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of our products.

• Work with co-packers and third-party logistics suppliers to track production,as well as forecast, plan and track all re-packaging work (i.e. variety packs)
• Work with key customers (e.g., Amazon, Walmart, Aldi) toensure on-time and in full fulfillment of orders.
• Triage quality issues and make real time adjustments and decisions to ensure customer and partner satisfaction.

·Oversee warehouse operations, including inventory control, order fulfillment, and shipping/receiving of all products.

This position requires a highly motivated individual with strong analytic and problem-solving skills. You must be highly organized, able to multitask and adhere to strict timelines. We’re a small team, with trusted partners – and as such you must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Operations and supply chain experience is a must.Ideally, we’re looking for a “Swiss Army Knife” type – someone who is multi-dimensional in skill set and quick on his/her feet to not only do their job but to consider ways to run this business smoother and more efficiently.

Technical Knowledge and Skills:

·Minimum Bachelor’s Degree

·At least three-five years’ experience, working in a supply chain or operational role, ideally in consumer products

·Inventory management is a strong plus

·Excellent verbal and written communication skills

·Analytical with strong problem-solving skills

·Self-starter, flexible and growth oriented

·with ability to derive conclusions from data

·Highly computer efficient including Excel.
