Position Overview: Candidate will be responsible for all trades work in Central Illinois division, including scaffolding, industrial cleaning, piping, mechanical, etc,. This position includes both field visits and office requirements. Operations Manager will be responsible for quotes, scheduling, client communication, as well as training and development of team. Salary position. Responsibilities and Duties: Shows up on time and ready to complete work Follows directions of leadership and clarifies responsibilities if needed Respects self, co-workers, managers, company, other contractors, and clients Adaptable in methods used to complete task Willing to go the extra mile for the team Communicate effectively both written and verbal Conducts business in professional manner Build relationships with prospective and current clients Build relationships with current vendors Ability to organize labor to work effectively Oversee the construction, assembly, maintenance, and dismantle of tubular and system scaffold or other temporary structures Ensure builds are within OSHA standards Manage the completion of application of various types of insulation and metal Keep track of up-down tickets, man-hours, and productivity Other duties as assigned Qualifications: Education and Experience Must have strong Microsoft office skills excel, word, and outlook Knowledge in piping containing long and short tadius 90's, 45-degree elbows, t's reducers, bevels, caps, and oversize's preferred Knowledge of different high-pressure hydroblast equipment, including the different tips and pressures rangin from 10,000 psi to 40,000 psi preferred Advanced knowledge of various types of scaffold builds, such as independent access scaffolds, birdcage, handing, truss out, and tower preferred Strong math skills in relation to basic, algebra, and geometry required Personal Characteristics Ability to follow all safe work procedures Excellent communication skills Adaptable in methods used to complete task Willing to go the extra mile for the team Motivated to learn new skills and trades Follows directions of manager / lead / superintendent and clarifies responsibilities if needed Respects self, co-workers, managers, company, other contractors, and clients.
