Operations Engineer Intern - Fall 2023

Fall 2023 Internship: This position is located at our HQ in Durham, NC. Expected program dates are August 28 – December 8, 2023.

Job Summary

The Operations Engineer Intern will contribute within the Hardware development team to support the needs of the area. Such will include the following:

• Smartsheet Dashboard Support
• Intellectual Property administration, prior art searches
• Service database in SharePoint which will involve testing and writing instructions on how to use the database.
• Organizing Compliance documentation
• Creating a country compliance database for Logistics to use
• Writing a spec for early ship guidelines

Education Or Equivalent

• Currently enrolled in a degree program in either Computer Science, Engineering or related degree.

Areas Of Expertise & Special Skills

• Motivated self-starter who is looking for the next task to complete.
• Strong written / verbal communication skills and interpersonal skills
• Good written and visual presentation skills (PPT, Excel, etc.)
• Detailed Oriented and very good organization skills
• Self-starter with demonstrated ability to work independently in a fast-paced and dynamic high-tech environment.  

Complexity

• Normally receives general instructions on routine work, detailed instructions on new projects or assignments. Interacts daily with subordinates and/or functional peer groups. Interaction normally involves exchange or presentation of factual information.
