Operation Manager Jobs

Position Overview:The Operation Manager plays a critical leadership role in a startup company, overseeing the operational functions and ensuring the efficient and effective execution of daily operations. The ideal candidate will have an ability to create and maintain an efficient system of operation to support the business needs. The candidate should be comfortable multitasking and working cross-functionally with different business units. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in related fields.

Responsibilities:

• Establish and maintain business standards for accuracy, productivity and reliability
• Set clear expectations, define roles and responsibilities, and ensure effective communication and coordination within the team
• As needed, perform various duties required to successfully fulfill the functions of the position
• Oversee functions such as shipping, receiving, inventory management, order entry, customer service, technical support, IT and HR
• Establish business processes. Streamline operational workflows and processes to enhance productivity, reduce costs, and maintain high-quality standards
• Manage the daily functions of the business
• Recruit, train, and build the operation team. Provide leadership and guidance.
• Set up business operation in a biotech startup.

Requirements

• B.Sc. in Biological/Biochemical Science/Bioengineering or related field
• Ability to speak and write Mandarin Chinese preferred.
• Strong working knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) required.
• Ability to rapidly learn and adapt to new technology
• Comfort in a dynamic work environment
• Exceptional communication, organization, analytical, and project management skills
• Strong ability to multitask
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in operations management, preferably in the biotech industry
