Onsite Safety Coordinator (Ft)

DKD Electric LLC is looking for Onsite Safety Coordinator in the Cuba NM area. Responsible for developing and maintaining an effective safety program for an electrical solar Job site. In charge of supervising, monitoring, and advising operating personnel and other management personnel regarding company safety policies, procedures, and programs to safeguard personnel and property of the company. Duties and Responsibilities: Maintains understanding and knowledge of current federal and state regulations and policies. Informs the organization of changes and administers actions to maintain compliance. Develops and implements Job Site Safety Program. Responsible for updating, implementing, and monitoring the Company’s Injury Prevention Program to meet OSHA requirements. Assists in interpretations of federal and state safety regulations and determine the appropriate method of compliance. Conducts field safety observations aimed at identifying potential risks with follow-up communications with the appropriate operating workgroup. Develops, maintains, and analyzes statistical data to identify trends and improvement opportunities. Leads and manages the implementation of injury reduction efforts. Tracks and reports operational safety. Conducts safety training programs for all levels of operation. Maintains and supervises the administration of the company’s worker’s compensation program. Investigates accidents and recommends preventative measures to reduce the risk of future occurrences. Provides leadership and drive for the company safety committee. Functions as emergency coordinator and develops/drives emergency response initiatives. Leads operation to best practice and best in class for safety. Assists the organization by participating in special task force assignments and special projects. Job Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Solid people skills with a professional demeanor. Ability to teach others and communicate effectively with all levels of the organization. Educations and Experience Required: Bachelor’s degree in a safety-related field Preferred. 5 years of safety experience. OSHA 30 certifications. CSP certification or equivalent Certified in CPR and first aid. Working Conditions/ Physical Functions: Required to sit for long periods of time. The job may require working in all elements, depending on job location, time of year, heat, cold, rain, or snow. Infrequent light physical effort required.
