Job Description

BCSlots is the leading influencer / YouTuber in the casino gaming world, with a thriving online community of over 5 million monthly viewers across multiple platforms. The Online Community Moderator will own community engagement and moderation where our content is distributed, including YouTube, Facebook, Instagram and TikTok. Reporting to the Social Media Marketing Manager, this administrative role is crucial to our growth, the success of our operation, and our commitment to our brand sponsors.


Key Responsibilities


  • Document comments that may be valuable, such as testimonials and viewer stories that show we had a positive influence on them.
  • Intimately familiar with the daily content schedule in order to support all new posts promptly by liking and replying to positive and engaging comments, which in turn boosts post performance.
  • Drive the company’s daily social media monitoring routine by reviewing all comments and direct messages that come in throughout the entire day.
  • Make our channels a safe space across all platforms, and keep all our comments sections positive by removing or banning negative accounts and spam.
  • Moderate our branded facebook groups by reviewing and approving appropriate posts and vetting new member requests.
  • Learn and apply our brand voice across all interactions when responding to comments and messages.
  • Work days are Saturday, Sunday and Monday from 9AM - 5:30 PM PT, with holiday flexibility, to deliver full coverage of social activity during those days.
  • Assist with additional administrative tasks that may be assigned, such as generating social media performance reports for partners, helping to run social media giveaways, etc.


Key Qualifications


  • Good judgment when it comes to moderating negative online behavior.
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher.
  • Integrity and a positive, solution-driven demeanor.
  • Working knowledge of social media management software (e.g. Sprout Social) a plus.
  • Utmost work ethic, ownership, and sense of initiative that is second to none.
  • Working knowledge of the “back end” creator tools on social media platforms, such as Facebook Creator Studio, YouTube Studio, TikTok Creator Tools, etc.
  • Intricate attention to detail and task completion, particularly for processing comments methodically across every social platform on a daily basis.
  • Creative writing skills, with the ability to emulate a given tone of voice, and convey emotion and humor appropriately.
  • Impeccable communication skills, a team player attitude, proactive at reporting results and any issues to management.
  • Passion to build lasting, emotional connections between a brand or creator and its followers.
  • Professional experience in social media management desired.
